High impedance (saturated) injectors measure roughly 8 to 16 ohms and run on most factory ECUs directly. Low impedance (peak and hold) injectors measure roughly 1 to 5 ohms and need peak and hold drivers or a resistor pack. Running low impedance injectors on a saturated driver can damage the ECU.
