BL 171702 12.7L Detroit 60 Series Turbocharger

This turbo is an ideal upgrade for trucks originally equipped with Garrett turbos and is commonly used on 2000-2008 models rated at 500-550hp. It also serves as a power upgrade for lower horsepower applications.

The BL-171702 offers multiple enhancements over its Garrett predecessor, including a larger compressor wheel to increase airflow and power output, and a twin-scroll turbine for reduced turbo lag. Unlike the original, this turbo does not have a wastegate and replaces the bolt-on housings with band clamps, allowing for infinite adjustability, making it perfect for custom applications.
